Stabilizer links

More than 50 years of experience in stabilizer link processes mean that LANBI is able to provide the latest state of the art and cost-competitive solutions. Thanks to this knowledge, LANBI can propose different manufacturing and assembly solutions depending on the product, functionality and working conditions of the vehicle.

The LANBI stabilizer pin machining CNC lathe has an output of 5.5 seconds per part and can be completed with a chip detection camera, ball and thread rolling processes, part sorting systems and further operations such as ball polishing after coating and washing units.

With standardised and modular design concepts, LANBI assembly lines are flexible and combine the stations on different platforms: high speed, FMS, rotary indexing table or stand-alone, LANBI offers operations such as subassembly, rolling or plastic ultrasonic welding, tilting torque control, greasing, clips and boot assembly, leak tests and final inspection.

Ball pin machining

LANBI lathes for stabilizer link ball pins have an output of 5.5 seconds per part, thanks to double XZ servo-slides. The process is completed in several steps using different cutters in order to achieve optimal quality and ease chip removal.

Crack detection

100% crack detection is necessary to detect material failures. Control is done through Eddy currents and one or two probes are used while the pin is rotating. Thread rolling, hardness, dimensional and thread verification are also available.

Torque control

Torque control is a mandatory operation for all ball joint assembly lines. Tilting torque control is the one used for the stabilizer links, while rotational is offered for other kinds of joint. Torque values can be related with rolling parameters thanks to the Industry 4.0 platform.
